President Obama spoke about how the tax cuts that resemble the past eight years are not the answer right now, and how we are literally paying for their failures. He also admitted that government is not the answer in the long run, yet it is the institution that has the most "resources" to turn our economy around at this time.
Perhaps Cleveland will see some of this bailout money for repair projects as well as new ones. (i.e., The Innerbelt Bridge, Opportunity Corridor, and the Medical Mart.)
Unless we work together in a bipartisan fashion, Ohio can expect to hear more of this... lets give the stimulus a chance instead of having to lose more jobs and surrender the money to other states.
"But I am the eternal optimist. I think that, over time, people respond to civility and -- and rational argument. I think that's what the people of Elkhart and the people around America are looking for. And that's what I'm -- that's the kind of leadership I'm going to try to provide." -Barack Obama
Hopefully we can all try and empathyze with this rationale; that we must use common sense and put the nation's well being above ideologies.
